The Springdale Chamber of Commerce featured the 57th annual Teacher Appreciation Event on Aug. 9 at Har-Ber High School. The event included a vendor fair and some $135,000 in prize giveaways. #SpringdaleFamily https://www.smore.com/73ucb-community-thanks-district-teachers

Welcome Ms. Scriber, our new Social Worker! "I graduated from the University of Arkansas and currently hold a LMSW, but am about to start working towards getting my LCSW. I will be working at ALC as well as CJHS this upcoming year. I am conversational in Spanish and am very comfortable speaking with Spanish speakers, but I am continually learning. I’d love to connect with as many students, families, and staff as possible and create a safe, open, and warm environment in my office and through my interactions. I’m so excited to be working at ALC and CJHS and help students and families succeed in any way I can, whether that be through basic resources, social/emotional/behavioral needs, problems at home, and much more."
