Our Programs

Men of Honor is a school-based affinity group open to male students that demonstrate leadership potential who attend Archer Learning Center. Students will participate in a series of bi-monthly workshops offered by faculty, staff, and community leaders to foster a sense of community and fellowship with each other and other male role models throughout the community. Students will participate in social outings that foster leadership qualities and develop the necessary skills to actively engage in issues relevant to the larger community with confidence. Students will also participate in additional activities to support health awareness and development. For more information contact Alonzo Terrell aterrell@sdale.org or Coby Davis cdavis2@sdale.org

Women of Worth

Women of Worth (WOW) is a group focused on mentoring young women and serving the community around us. Activities in the past have included serving meals at the senior center, trips to Crystal Bridges, packing meals for families during holiday seasons, and maintaining positive behavior and attitudes in school to help grow a positive school culture. The Archer Women of Worth Group is sponsored by Mrs. Kim Brown, teacher; Mrs. Yolanda Mahan, Instructional Facilitator; and Mrs. Nichole Davis, Assistant Principal. Community partnerships are always welcome, interested partners can reach out to any of the group sponsors by calling 479-750-8773 or emailing Mrs. Davis at ndavis@sdale.org.
