GJHS was happy to host future teachers from Springdale High School today during our Instructional Rounds. These students collaborated with teachers in observing instructional practices and strategies for use in their own classrooms.

Last night was our George Wranglers football banquet held at Springdale First Assembly. We are so proud of all of our GJHS football players and coaches for all their hard work and determination they put into this football season. #FearTheG #DestinationGeorge

Yesterday was the GJHS Dance team’s last competition of the season held at Bentonville West. In HipHop, our GJHS dance team placed 2nd. The girls absolutely killed it. We were 2 points behind 1st place, Grimsley. 1st and 2nd scores were miles away from the 3rd and below pack. To challenge Grimsley (kids that have been dancing since they were in diapers) is REALLY impressive. In Game Day, our GJHS dance team received 1st place yet again! Congrats on an amazing season to our GJHS Dance team! You really were #TooLegitToQuit! #DestinationGeorge

Just a reminder that tomorrow is school picture day. Halloween costumes are not allowed to be worn tomorrow since we allowed them last Friday for the costume dance. Yesterday, our GJHS Dance Team placed 3rd place in Hip Hop and 1st place in Game Day. They also took the Overall Showmanship Award against all of the middle, junior, and high school teams. Way to go Wranglers! #DestinationGeorge #SpringdaleFamily

It’s the last Friday in October, which signifies another “ORANGE You Glad it’s Friday” here at GJHS! Wrangler students and families: Just a reminder there is no school for students tomorrow. Get some rest and enjoy your day off!

Wrangler Families: Just a quick reminder that ALL backpacks used at George Junior High School must be clear, transparent backpacks. There are no exceptions to this policy. If a student is identified wearing a backpack that does meet this criteria, they will be sent to the Office to empty their backpack and may carry their things around with them. The other option is that we will provide the student a locker to use until another clear backpack has been acquired. We are working on a plan to have clear backpacks available for purchase, but we will let you know when that option is available.
