¡Qué gran semana ha sido en Westwood! ¡Nos ha encantado ver a tantos de nuestros estudiantes en la jornada de puertas abiertas esta semana donde comenzaron la aventura de este año llenando sus pasaportes! Algunas piezas importantes de información: hemos descubierto una manera de abrir las puertas a las 7:20 este año (tanto al costado como al frente). Esperamos que esto ayude a aquellos de ustedes que tienen que ponerse a trabajar. Desafortunadamente, no podremos tener visitantes en el edificio el lunes ya que vendrá toda la escuela, así que por favor use las líneas para dejar a los pasajeros en automóvil. Todavía permitiremos giros a la izquierda desde McRay hacia el estacionamiento por ahora mientras esperamos ansiosos que la ciudad haga algunas mejoras (¡próximamente!). ¡No podemos esperar hasta el lunes!
What a great week it's been at Westwood! We have loved seeing so many of our students at open house this week were they started this year's adventure by filling up their passports! A few important pieces of information- we have figured out a way to open the doors at 7:20 this year (both side and front). We hope this will help those of you who have to get to work. Unfortunately, we won't be able to have visitors in the building Monday since the whole school will be coming, so please use the car rider drop off lines. We will still allow left turns from McRay into the parking lot for now while we eagerly wait on the city to make some improvements (coming soon!). We can't wait till Monday!

Guess what? School is only a little less than 4 weeks away! If you need to enroll your student, visit Westwood starting next Monday, July 26th, between 8:30 and 3:30. Our kindergarten is almost full, so if you have a child who will turn 5 before August 1st, you need to come next week!
