Wrangler Families: It appears that we did not post the days of AMI packets due correctly. Your students should have 1-10 and 11-30 turned in by this Friday to stay on track. Please work on finishing packets and turning them in to GJHS or through Google Classroom. Stay well!
Our AMI packets are available on the web at http://go.sdale.org/AMI, or look for the AMI button on your schools' website. In addition to the required lessons, you'll find helpful resources for each grade level including videos and translations for grades K - 2. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Friday, May 8 from 7 AM to 6 PM is the GJHS School Instrument and Band Uniform Return date/time. Students will drive to the back of the school (by the dumpsters) and enter the Band Room one at a time (while maintaining social distance) to return these school owned items. A follow up date of May 15 from 7 AM to 6 PM will also be available.
Let us know if you need anything.

Wrangler Families: The next AMI packets will be available for pick up Monday, April 27. Finish days 11-30 and return those to the bins or online to your teachers. Also, return library books to avoid a hold on your schedule next year. Stay well! Stay tuned for more announcements!

New AMI lessons for Days 21-30 have been added online. Visit this link if you need to print these new lessons: https://www.sdale.org/o/springdale-public-schools/page/ami-day. If you are doing the paper packet, these lessons should have been included in the second AMI packet.
Wrangler Families: We are here at the school ready to distribute Chromebooks to ANY 8th or 9th grade student that DOES NOT have a device (i.e. laptop, PC, tablet, etc.) and has internet access. We only have a limited number of Chromebooks, so they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. A parent or guardian must be present in order to get a Chromebook, however, the student does not. We will be here at the school today and tomorrow from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. or until we run out of Chromebooks. Hope to see you soon!
Wrangler Families: We are making our final push for distributing Chromebooks. We are extending to ALL families that DO NOT have a device (i.e. laptop, PC, tablet, etc.) and have internet access. We only have a limited number of Chromebooks, so they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. You must bring a parent and your Student ID, if you can locate it, in order to get a Chromebook. Once our allotment has run out, they are gone! Please try to pick up your Chromebook by 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 15th.
Wrangler Students with Library Books: You do not want to begin next year with a fine and not be able to get your schedule. Please turn in library books in front of the school in the drop box! Thanks and Happy Friday!
Wrangler Family: Chromebooks are available to 9TH GRADE students who have internet and no other device other than a phone for submitting work. These are limited. We want to get them to students who will use them appropriately. Pick up today between 8 - 4. You must bring a parent.
Wrangler Family: Arkansas Athletics Association has declared a "dead period" for athletics until May 30th. Students are not to congregate or practice on school sites. Please stay off GJHS fields so we are complying and not jeopardizing our programs. Thank you for your help.

We want to wish a Happy National Assistant Principals week to Mrs. Sedberry and Mr. Jenkins! We know they miss seeing all of your smiling, happy faces around GJHS! We are so grateful to have two such amazing Assistant Principals! #THEChoice #WeAreGeorge

Wranglers: As you may have heard, we will be finishing this school year completing AMI work or on Google Classroom. This is disappointing to many especially to your teachers who were hoping to get the opportunity to see you again before summer break. With that being said, it is more important than ever that you continue to work on the packets, turn in this work via Google Classroom or email, or return the packets to the school. Contact your friends and make sure they are working too. We want to ensure that all GJHS students achieve at the highest level they can during this trying time. Contact the school or your teachers if you need any kind of assistance and BE WELL!
Here is the information that we posted yesterday in regards to the updated delivery of food service. This new policy will start on Monday. We have shared the message in Marshallese and Spanish as well. #THEChoice
